We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with all the family gathered, except for Andrew and Meagan who woke up horribly sick that morning. Either the flu or food poisoning, all they could keep down was 7-up or crackers. We missed them!! Dillon did get to come and spend the day with us so Mommy and Daddy could sleep, and he was a perfect baby all day! He loved Jenn's birthday balloons!! We had great food and wonderful company, and it just affirms how much we all have to be thankful for!! A beautiful day.
The weather has been so wonderful as the pics above show...the next day as we were putting up lights on the house there was a neighbor mowing his grass (leaves maybe) and a fisherman out on the lake!! The most amazing thing though was that Greg actually agreed to hang the light when it wasn't cold and windy!! He says it's just not right doing it when it is so nice out and he doesn't have to worry about slipping off the ladder or roof!! We added some lights on the garage this year and the house looks great! Really starting to get in the Christmas spirit! I got a little bit of shopping done yesterday so feeling pretty good about my list. As I look at the calendar and how much we have going on, it's a good thing I got started on it!! I had Monday and today off as Andrew is bird hunting in SD with a group of guys. This Saturday we have another first in our lives...a work Christmas party for GREG! The insurance company he works for has their party at the Oxbow Country Club and he is pretty excited. A first for him! Sounds like it could turn into quite a party?? Could be interesting! Will report later :)
